This session will feature several ways to build vocabulary and language in mathematics. Students often struggle most with using the formal language of mathematics. In addition, getting students to make connections between concepts and ideas can be greatly enhanced using just a few easy vocabulary strategies. All participants will leave with ready to use ideas for the classroom.
