This full day session will address the fundamentals of Project Based Learning including why it is effective, how to design a standards based project, and exploring the protocols all with Best Practices as a focus. Participants will gain a better understanding of the design and facilitate aspects of Project Based Learning, the student management system, and will leave with a beginning design. This is a great session for teachers new to PBL but can act as a refresher course for all K-5, 6-8, 9-12 Social Studies and Science Teachers.
